A“bout Hot Lahmacun
There is a saying in the region, “The food belongs to the eater.” And sure- ly, it remains one of the most popular foods in both Turkey and Armenia.
Lahmacun is a flatbread topped with minced meat, most com- monly beef or lamb, minced vegetables, and herbs including on- ions, garlic, tomatoes, red peppers, and parsley, flavored with spices such as chili pepper and paprika, then baked.[4] Lahmacun is often wrapped around vegetables, in- cluding pickles, tomatoes, peppers, onions, lettuce, parsley, and roasted eggplant.
