games. As time went on, people start- ed to show up and the place seemed less empty.
The prices were wonderful for two people (Shelly and I) to eat it was rough- ly sixty pounds. Which for the amount of food we were served was great! By the time we were half way through the meal, I couldn’t eat another bite! I or-

served in, looked like a skillet it was so big. Not bad for the price. Shelly ordered Adana, char grilled lean tender minced lamb skewers, flavoured with red chili flakes, was only at $12. After our main meal, we ordered a special home-made Turkish sweet, called Sutlac that is a kind of rice pudding. Ordering sutlac in Hanedan is like Forrest Gump’s moth- er’s box of chocolates: You never know what you’re gonna get. It’s all about the joy. There Is nothing else Like Sutlac at Hanedan. It is served with a perfect presentation decorated with chocolate drops and a scoop of vanila ice-cream on the top.
Hanedan’s menu is a delight if you are planning a loving meal with your family. There’s whole lot of goodness to explore, spreading across appetizers, kebabs, pides, sweets, entrees and more. Then there are specials and baked sur- prises too.
Taste the flavors! You can see many Turkish
restaurants, sweet shops and cafes on the Green Lanes of Harringey, but our stop was Hanedan this time. The main reasons why we chose to eat at Hanedan were because, we heard that the food was good, and the prices were reasonable,
and the atmosphere was festive.

When we arrived, we were surprised to see an empty restaurant. Because of the World Cup, it was not a good season for many restaurants, because people either stay home or go pubs to watchs
